Saturday 03 March 2012 - AAA visit to Milreu guided by Rui Parreira
Tuesday 10 April 2012 – Sunday 15 April 2012 – AAA visit to Burgos.
Day 1. Travel from the Algarve to Salamanca (1 night in Salamanca)
Day 2. Short visit around the town of Salamanca and after lunch depart for Burgos (3 nights in Burgos)
Day 3. Morning - visit the town (cathedral etc).
Afternoon - visit to Atapuerca – prehistoric site.
Day 4. Morning – visit to the new museum in Burgos (inaugurated last year) dedicated to Atapuerca and Prehistory.
Afternoon – excursion on the ‘camino de Santiago de Compostela’, visit to the 2 monasteries of Suso and Yuso in San Millán de la Cogolla (on the road from Burgos to Logroño).
Day 5. Burgos – Caceres (1 night in Caceres). Possibly a visit to the Historic Centre by night.
Day 6. Return to the Algarve.
